Born into late-stage capitalism, Jon prioritizes developing work that satisfies his Jewish values and his never-ending hunger for making people laugh.

Jon got his start at CollegeHumor, producing more than a hundred original videos that garnered billions of views and multiple Webby and Telly Awards. He served as co-showrunner and director on truTV’s Adam Ruins Everything, where he honed his ability to distill complex issues into fast-paced, easy-to-understand entertainment, a skill he brought to co-creating, EPing, and directing on the Netflix series The G Word with Adam Conover.

When it comes to production, Jon believes in the adage “let’s fix it in prep,” using every tool available - from rough thumbnail storyboards to pre-viz camera tests. Jon’s approach to leadership is driven by clear communication, deliberate planning, and a respect for others’ time and talents.

On his off days, Jon enjoys baking, crafting, and thinking about how even though income inequality might be a historic and systemic problem with no simple solutions, that shouldn’t prevent us from dreaming of a better world!!
